Nyatri Family
Reunion Program
 The
program aims at strengthening family ties between Bon Children's
Home residents and their biological parents. At present, children,
once at BCH, hardly ever have a chance to meet their families
again, because Tibetan exiles in Nepal and India cannot afford
travelling to Dolanji and staying there. Older children can visit
their families on their own during holidays, but younger ones can
only hope that their Ma or Dad will come to them to BCH .
All
funds collected by Nyatri for our Family Reunion Program shall
be used exclusively to arrange visits of parents of the youngest
children staying in Dolanji (up to 10 years of age).
Approximate
costs of a visit and accommodation of a family of a child coming
from Nepal are shown below.

Return
travel: approx. 3600 IRS or 90 USD;

Meals:
approx. 2000 IRS or 50 USD;

Permits
and other documents: approx. 100 USD;
-
Pocket
money for unforeseen expenses: approx. 100 USD;
-
Accommodation
in Dolanji: approx. 2500 IRS or 80 USD.
Total:
approx. 420 USD. Please consult our website for any modifications
of this amount.
